There are many beautiful Dunedin walks that offer a variety of experiences for visitors. Some of the best walks in Dunedin include:

  • Tunnel Beach Walk: This walk takes you down to a secluded beach that can only be accessed via a historic tunnel. The walk offers great views of the coast and wildlife, but the beach itself is not recommended for swimming.
  • The Otago Peninsula: The Otago Peninsula offers a variety of walks, including the Royal Albatross Centre and the Yellow-eyed Penguin Reserve. The peninsula is home to an abundance of wildlife, including penguins, seals, and sea lions, and offers great views of the coast and the city.
  • Signal Hill: This walk takes you to the top of Signal Hill, which offers panoramic views of Dunedin and the surrounding area. The walk is relatively easy and takes about 30-40 minutes to reach the top.
